On the rode to the Big Red Bash

Updated: May 22, 2021

Lindsay and I are going to the Big Red Bash in the Simpson desert. It is the most remote music festival in the world.

For the past two weeks I was preparing for our road trip to the big Red Bash. We planned to leave home (In Victoria) on Sunday the 30th of May in order to get to Birdsville on the 4th of Jun two days before the Bash. Yesterday I realised that the BRB is in July and not in June as I was planning (stupid me). SO, we still leaving home on the 30th of May, but taking the VERY LONG ROAD to Birdsville via the Nullarbor, Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland, Broome, Fitzroy crossing, Bungle Bungles, Kakadu, up to Normanton (or maybe Georgetown), and then down to Birdsville in time for the Bash….So we will write and tell you all about our adventures along the road, but most importantly, don’t laugh at me!
